I'm gon' set my soul on fire.
My heart beats low while the flames go higher.
Strike the match and then the truth is told.
I'm gon' set my soul on fire.
The Devil made me a Woman!...
I ain't no liar.
Her eyes burn black like the lake of fire.
She struck the match and then i sold my soul...
For the black haired girl from the lake of fire.
My heart beats low while the flames go higher.
Strike the match and then the truth is told.
I just set my soul on fire

I'm not sure which is more unsettling, that the commencement was on Friday the 13th or that she celebrated with an impromptu wet T-shirt contest/water balloon war with her family.
and I was the front line photojournalist. wet-kneed as I was.
uncle gets his revenge.
in either case, Lauren is a college graduate. congrats.

the Dream Team was on tonight. another one of my precious movies that mention Trenton. with portions actually filmed at Trenton Psych, though they changed the name of the hospital in the movie.
"I'm an escaped mental patient with a history of violence."
not a very good movie, but it did make me start to wonder about something.
what do crazy people think about when they are by themselves?
Been catching up on Entourage in preparation for the next season. Wish I had seen this show when it first started. Not that it matters when I saw it, but I didn't get to catch it from the beginning so I know I've missed a few episodes.
Jeremy Piven is a god.
Oh, yeah. And I'm developing a massive crush on Samaire Armstrong.
thank you, and good night.
you have your choice of any five bands in history. and they are all
performing together. it doesn't matter if they are still around,
living or dead. and genre's don't matter. it's completely your choice.
who are they and it what order are they playing?
i first asked this question to frank and instructed him to make a flyer of said show.
because i am a complete nerd, i did the same.
can you guess which one is mine?
let the games begin.

in other news. i am very sore. in my state of despair over making little or no progress at the gym, i have upped my aggro factor. i'm not exactly working out with renewed vigor, but i am pushing myself in slightly different directions.
i need accomplishments. i need to DO something. at the (very impressive) Frantic show last night i was thinking about making music. i had ideas in my head. music, words, i'm like that. i am a sponge around creativity. i don't steal ideas, per se, i just get motivated when i am around the creativity of others. charged like a battery. unfortunately, like an old lithium ion, i do not hold my charge very long.
i wonder how Megatron is doing, playing out again. i am glad for her, she is one of the most talented people i have ever met. wishing her well.
the book i am reading now has me befuddled. i'm pretty sure i've never used that word before, but it seems rather appropriate. the book is called Parasites Like Us, and i am alternately very intrigued by it, or completely disinterested. the median outcome is a rather daunting ambivilence. at this point, i may be reading it just to finish and say i have.
i found a poem the other day that i didn't remember writing. as much as that should maybe set off alarm bells signaling my impending dementia, i rather like it. a pleasant surprise.
speaking of surprises, Borek of all fucking people got a tattoo. how the worm turns.
